Who Am I?
I am Miles Hilliard, a passionate student at Medford Vocational Technical High School (MVTHS) in Medford, MA. I specialize in hands on work, with a growing passion for programming, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence, and robotic autonomy
As a self-proclaimed expert in problem solving, I have have been working with ROVs at Sunk Robotics for four years now as the lead electrical engineer where I help design, develop, and test innovative underwater ROVs for the annual MATE ROV competition. Learn more.
I have also spent all four years of my high school career in the Robotics & Engineering vocational shop where I have been restoring and converting an old electric golf-cart to be fully autonomous (as shown in the picture above). With experience including LiDAR (SLAM), Custom Image Processing AI models, and custom lithium battery design, the vehicle is very close to being fully autonomous! Learn more.
